Hidden Shadow Japan

]]> I’ve always like taking closeups of the leaves. The detail and color they provide is quite stunning in my opinion. Here I played with the contrast of light from the sun and the shadows of overlapping leaves. I took many shots like this and found it quite difficult to post a favorite…they all turned out rather satisfying. I am really looking forward to the autumn season and have several trips into the mountains here in Nagano to photograph the color of leaves.
